Ballet in the Country, LLC

Our school is where we take dreams and turn them into a reality. A professional, structures and formal environment to educate the young mind through dance to enhance them mentally, physically, and emotionally to mature them through the fine art and build confidence and a healthy lifestyle for a lifetime.
Our director, Ms. Diana McCormack, began training at the age of 9 at the Nashua School of Dance, and by age 11 was accepted as a student company member in the Montgomery Ballet Company. After attending the first magnet school for dance, Booker T. Washington H.S., where her love for a multitude of the performing arts developed, she attended the San Angelo Civic Ballet and began her teaching career soon after.
She has now begun her 21st season as an instructor and her 8th year as the Owner of The Wilson Ballet. She is currently working towards the ABT (American Ballet Theatre) Teacher Training Certification and is Progressive Ballet Technique Certified, a NDA (National Dance Alliance) Certified Judge, and a MA (Marching Auxiliary) Judge.
Our hope is to bring Wilson County and surrounding areas the county's premier Fine Arts School. We envision a multitude of opportunities through and around our wonderful county lines a school that encapsulates the essential development of a fine art to produce outstanding performers and dancers, to exhibit our talents in a production school setting.
